Congo Rainforest Fund

Humans are pushing the Grauer's Gorilla of Congo into extinction. These gorillas, the largest primate in the world, face perilous threats from human encroachment, poaching, and forest degradation.

The Grauer's Gorilla has lost 77% of its population in just 20 years. They are on the list of critically endangered species.

Our mission at the Congo Rainforest Fund is to conserve the Congo Rainforest, protect the habitat of the Grauer's Gorilla, preserve the diversity of flora and fauna in the rainforest, and help mitigate climate crisis.
